Book Two Unit Ninety-five

When the Ambassador of Escalopia returned home for lunch, his wife was astonished
to find that the Ambassador looked pale,dressed in soiled clothes. She asked his
husband what had happened to him. The Ambassador told her that he was shot by a
fire extinguisher because the Embassy was set on fire by university students. The
Ambassador's wife got a shock and asked her husband where he was at that time.
The Ambassador claimed that he was in his office as ususal before he went into the
basement to put out the fire. He added that he wanted to get that fool Horst posted
for Horst had aimed a fire extinguisher at him. After having noticed a big hole in her
husband's hat, the Ambassador's wife asked her husband how he could explain that.
The Ambassador alleged that his hat was shot a hole by someone through his office
window. He felt it so lucky that he could get home for lunch because he wasn't
wearing the hat at that time.
