According to the latest annual survey from the UN――The top ten happiest countries in the world, Denmark is ranked the No.1, hailed as the happiest country in whole world. Norway is ranked in the second place. And Canada, Australia are also in the list. It is interesting that the majority of the list is occupied by the Northern European countries, such as Finland, Iceland, Sweden and so on.
The survey is worked out by considering various aspects of a country, including the average salary level, the employment rate, the people's living standards , people's mental health and other aspects.
By analysing the survey , I found some similarities among the top ten happiest countries. First and foremost , these countries provide an overall social welfare to their residents, ranging from a long--term compulsory education to medical insurances, which makes their residents satisfied with the society. What's more , I think that the distinctive and beautiful landscapes and geographical enviornment play an important role to promote the happiness of people living in these area. Just taking the Northern European scenery for instsnce, people may easily feel enjoyable in that beautiful landscape. Last but not least, the free, loose and comfortable social atomsphere that the government create gives everyone a chance to create their own values and to develop their potential abilities.
To sum up, the road for China to the top ten the happiest countries in the world is long and tough. But I have faith our country is on the road and sparing no efforts to make Chinese people feeling happier.
