Hallie and Annie came across in a camp.Hallie lived in California,Annie lived in London.They didn't know each other before.They knew each other in a fencing competition.But after that competition they argued and played a prank on each other.So they were punished to live in an isolation cabin.They started talking to each other in the cabin.And finally to their surprise,they found that they were twins,which was a mind boggling thing for them.
Hallie:That's my dad.
Annie:That's my mom.
Hallie:That's the lunch bell. l'm not so hungry anymore. So if, if your mom... is my mom... and my dad is your dad...and we're both born on October 11th...then you and l are like, like sisters.
Annie:Sisters? Hallie, we're like twins.
Hallie:l just don't know what to say.
Annie:What's that you're holding?
Hallie:My locket. l got it when l was born. lt has an ''H'' on it.
Annie:I got mine when l was born, too... except mine has an ''A'' on it.
Hallie:Ooh, now l've got goose bumps. My God, so l'm not the only child. l'm a twin, a twin... there's two of me. l mean, two of us. This is like...
Annie:Mind boggling.
Hallie:Totally.
Annie:Completely.
Hallie;Oh, my God.
Annie:Oh, my God.
Hallie:Tell me, what's Mom like?
Annie:Well, she designs wedding gowns.
Hallie:Really?
Annie:She's becoming quite famous, actually. A princess in Greece just bought one of her gowns.
HallieWow.
Annie:You, you know what's interesting? Neither one of our parents ever got married again. Has Dad ever been close to getting remarried?
Hallie:Never. He always says l'm the only girl in his life.
Annie:Yeah, Mom's never come close either.
Hallie:I have a brilliant, beyond brilliant idea. l'm serious. l am a total genius. You want to know what Dad is like, right?
Annie:Right.
Hallie:And l'm dying to know Mom. So what l'm thinking is... .Don't freak out, okay? l think we should switch places. When camp's over l'll go back to London as you... and you go back to California as me.
AnnieWhat?
Hallie:Annie, we can pull it off. We're twins, aren't we?
Annie:Hallie, we're totally and completely 100% different.
Hallie:So, what's the problem? l'll teach you to be me... and you teach me to be you. Look, l can do you already. Yes, you want to know the difference between us? l have class and you don't.
Hallie:Come on, Ann. l got to meet my ma.
Annie:The truth is, you know, if we switch... sooner or later, they'll have to unswitch us.
Hallie:And when they do that, they'll meet again... face to face.
Annie:After all these years.
Hallie:Thank you. l told you l'm brilliant.
After the decision of switching the places,they try to teach each other to be the other.Annie is introducing her family members to Hallie.
Annie:Okay. This is grandfather.
Hallie:He's so cute. What do we call him?
Annie:Grandfather.
Hallie:Why didn't l think of that?
Annie:This is Martin, he's our butler.
Hallie:We have a butler?
Annie:Mm-hmm.
Hallie is introducing her family to Annie.
Hallie:Okay. Living room's first. Then over here is the dining room. But we never eat in there except for Thanksgiving... and Christmas and, of course, October 11th.
Hallie is going to to cut Annie's hair in order that they look like the same.
Annie:Okay. l, l'm ready. Don't shut your eyes!
Hallie:Oh. Okay. Right. Sorry. Just got a little nervous.
Annie:You're nervous? The 11-year-old is just cutting my hair.
Hallie:Hey, you sounded just like me.
Annie:Well, l'm supposed to, aren't l? Go on, just do it.
Hallie:Don't panic. You look great.
