H: Hey,Lucas. What's the rush?
L: Oh,hi.
H: Sit.
L: I can't. I promised I'd give Caleb a ride to the hardware store during lunch.
H: You and Caleb are tight now?
L: He's living at my house. My parents are letting him crash until he figures things out.
H: So is he staying here for a while or is he going back to Arizona?
L: You should probably ask him that yourself. I'll see you.
H: No, wait. What about after school? You wanna do something fun? Or something not fun,like studying?
L: I've got yearbook. We're going to the printer on Monday.
H: Yeah, yeah I get it.
L: So how come I don't see you hanging around with your posse anymore?
H: Oh, you know, just busy. Frigured we could use some separate time.

卢卡斯：这你还是自己问他吧，回见啦。
欧娜：等一下，放学后有空吗？想不想一起去找点乐子？或者找点不算乐子的事情，比如温书。
卢卡斯：我得编年鉴呢。下周一就要拿去印刷。
欧娜：哦，那你忙吧。
卢卡斯：你那几个死党呢？怎么不见你们在一起了？
欧娜：哦，大家都忙嘛。于是就决定暂时分开一段时间。

【句型Plus】

1. What' s the rush?
   rush有“冲，奔；赶紧”的意思，所以I have to rush! 就是“我赶时间”。
   如果要迟到了，或者来不及了，老外通常会脱口而出： I have to rush!

2. Yeah, yeah, I get it.
   I get it. 是很常用的一个表达，在口语中还常以另外一个形式出现，即 Igot it.
   有时在口语中也会直接说成Got it. 此外还可以说 I see.

3. So how come I don't see you handing around with your posse anymore.
   hang around 这个俚语其实有多重含义，最常用的就是指“什么都不做，闲逛”。
   此外它还可以表示和朋友们待在一起，看电影、逛街、聊天等，也不限指异性朋友。
