Last week Beijing lifted a series of COVID-19 restrictions based on improvements in the epidemic situation. All city restaurants could resume dine-in services.
People could also go back to their workplaces starting after several weeks of working from home. They were just required negative nucleic acid test results taken within 72 hours.
But now the spreading begin again because of cluster of infection in a bar, which has infected more than a hundred people so far. Several communities have been quarantined including one near my apartment. Students are supposed to postpone to go to school again.
There will report growing numbers of new reported infections in the next couple of days. but I still hope that everything will be under control soon.
