Don't highly over-specialize

Time has changed like twice or third time faster than the past.

Perhaps this saying to me is shocking.

"Don't ever highly over-specialized yourself! Anna Wintour said."

One week ago, I have listened to Anna Wintour,the Ediotor-in-chief of American Vogue, talked to Oxford Union in 2015 on Youtube. She had about 20 minutes to share about her experience on Fashion industry for almost her entire career.

Everyone who knows about fashion recognizes Anna Wintour, the most powerful woman on Fashion industry. She gets more famous and a lot of attention when Devil Wears Prada comes out on theaters. She is Modanna on Fashion.

And Anna talks about she goes directly to work instead of studying at high school. She is also the only one in her family who don't go to higher education.

Then, she talks about everyone should not highly over-specialized yourslef. She talks about doing many things、 learns things、 try new stuff，not  just focus on one thing or narrow views.

I mean this  quote means a lot for me. In the past few years, I think that I am somewhat special just because I have graudated from higher education in the United States. However, this does not benefit me a lot.

I do not get either higher salary or any respect from my hardworking at college. So, perhaps hardworking is as important as always not just on deadline or on time. And this means I have to wake up on calls.

So, I understand that I will never highly over-speciliazed myself from now.
