《Beat It》是一首反对社会暴力的音乐作品。由Michael Jackson（迈克尔·杰克逊）作词、作曲、编曲（与Quincy Jones(昆西·琼斯)），并演唱。在其1982年专辑《Thriller》收录的主打歌曲之一。写《Beat It》时，杰克逊脑海中一直想着学校的孩子们。当时杰克逊已经自己创作了一些歌曲，但在看到其他人创作的歌曲以前，我并没有拿给昆西·琼斯看。早在制作《Off the Wall》时杰克逊就写了这首歌，却舍不得拿出来给别人看，在制作《Thriller》时，杰克逊把《Beat It》藏了很长时间。[1]昆西·琼斯向杰克逊说在《Thriller》中我们需要一首非常棒的摇滚歌曲，昆西最终说服了杰克逊发行这首歌曲。本曲入围了摇滚名人堂史上500首经典之作之一，同时入围滚石杂志最佳100首摇滚吉他Solo之一，邓丽君、Metallica、Fall Out Boy、吴克羣等歌手都曾经翻唱过这部作品。
