Grocery shopping is fun. Fun前鼻音, 不要发成后鼻音。
如浪花的浪， 发的是后鼻音， 而烂苹果的烂，发的是前鼻音。

What do we eat every day?
everyday: 日常的意思。 如 Everyday English日常英语
every day 每天都做的意思
Fun: we like, we want to do it very often.
Opposite word: boring.
Q: What is boring?
A: Washing the dishes is boring.
Let’s get food for today. 注意get的t不要读得太重。 Food, 发音长点。
Let’s have some pizza for lunch.
Let’s: It’s used for advising suggestion.
Q: How many people are there in the picture?
A: There are 4 people in the picture.
Q: What are they doing?
A: They are grocery shopping.
Q: How many shopping carts do they have?
A: They have 2 shopping carts.
Q: Why do they need 2 shopping carts?
A: The children want to have their own shopping cart for fun.
Q: Where are they?
A: They are in a supermarket. (艾哈建议用grocery store. 因为更常用)
There are three meals. Meals长音尽量饱满。
Breakfast: 早餐 这个词的由来： fast 有斋戒，绝食的意思， break有打破的意思， 二词连在一起， 打破斋戒，开始吃饭， 就变成早餐了。
Dinner, 这个词如果和breakfast, lunch放在一起时， 常可译为晚餐。 但如果单独使用时， 一般是指很丰盛的一餐。 而老外一般都是晚餐最丰富， 所以通常也就是指晚餐了。
Our first meal of the day is breakfast.
Our可以直接读为/r/音， meal of 要锻炼连读。 因为老外常连读， 至少我们要能听得懂老外的连读。 连读发音类似于”mea love”
Q: What’s on the table?
A: Fork, fried eggs, yolk, (蛋黄， 这个词要记住 ),
Q: Are they soft or hard yolks?
A: They are soft yolks.
Q: Do you like soft or hard yolks?
A: I like soft yolks.
Q: Where can you see breads in the grocery store?
A: Bakery section. (森博)
Q: What else can you see in the bakery section?
A: Muffin, cake, bagels, doughnuts, puff
Difference between muffin and cup cake:
There are icing or frosting on the top of cup cake. But no for muffin. Normally cup cake is small and muffin is big.
A _____ of bread （ we can fill in “ loaf, slice, piece “ ）
但注意： a slice of bread一般是指一片面包， 而a piece of bread则很可能是形状不规则的，也可能是你手揪下来的任意大小， 形状的面包， 比如你喂鸟时揪的小块。
So we can make some toast. 注意语调， so…. 前面都轻读， 重点强调toast. 以后听音频时要养成习惯注意哪些地方轻读， 哪些地方重读。
We are going to get orange juice. Are going to轻读 Orange jiuce重读
A jug of orange juice（ 顺便加下艾哈老师提过的Jug, jar, mug三个词的区别如下）
jar是广口瓶，有瓶盖，一般是用来装固体的（如白糖、黑豆之类），也有用来装半固体的（果酱、蜂蜜之类），或者固体液体混合（如pickle泡菜）。
而jug是一个用来盛饮料的器具。有把儿，还有一个便于倾倒的口，spout。
这里教给大家一个方法，记住了你就不会用错。
mug是一个杯子，喝饮料的时候，从jug里倒进mug里。这两个词是押韵的。因为jar和mug不押韵，所以你不会把jar的东西倒进mug里。
Now we have eggs. 注意eggs重读
A carton of eggs 一纸盒鸡蛋（图片中虽然是塑料的， 也可以用carton ）
A carton of milk, a carton of juice.
Juice boxes 小的盒子， 用straw喝的
What do you use when you want to drink juice? Straw (这个词也很重要。 )
Q: Where did you see the picture of juice box in last lesson?
A: When the girl is having lunch. There is a juice box on the table.
Fruit PLU 水果上贴的那些数字，表明水果型号的
Cheese. 最后发z音， 但要注意不用读得太重。
Salami, sausage的一种
Ground meat肉馅 ground是grind研磨的过去分词, 也可以用minced meat
Now we can make a sandwich. 注意make a 连读

A: Lettuce, salad dressing, toast, tomato,
Broccoli 西兰花
Pasta 总称， spaghetti 意面
Ketchup 吃薯条用的番茄酱
