    steady:

    steady situation continues or develops gradually without any interruptions and is not likely to change quickly

    If you look at someone or speak to them in a steady way, you look or speak in a calm, controlled way.

    dull:

    If you describe someone or something asdull, you mean they are not interesting or exciting

    Someone or something that isdullis not very lively or energetic

    glow is a dull, steady light, for example the light produced by a fire when there are no flames

    It seems Steve Jobs wasn’t a big fan of the first logo of Apple by Ronald Wayne. It showed Isaac Newton sitting under a tree with a glowing apple on top of his head. So within an year Steve asked another graphic designer Rob Janoff to design a fresh logo. He came up with the “bitein the Apple logo and Steve added rainbow color to it.

    Janoff had later explained two reasons why he used bitten apple for the logo :

    1、He didn’t want people to confuse it with a tomato

    2、He tried punning on words ‘bite’ and ‘byte’ (to lend geeky flavor to the fruit)
