3/ just / justly
Our teacher has just returned from London.（刚刚）
He was treated justly.（公正地）
4/ free/ freely
The books are given away free.（免费地）
You may speak freely.（自由地）
5/ hard /hardly
Work hard ,.and you’ll suceed in time.（努力地）
His father could hardly believe it was true.（几乎不）
6/ clean/cleanly
I clean forgot about it.（完全地）
This knife diesn’t cut cleanly.（干净利落地）
7/ clear /clearly
The bird on the tree got clear away.（完全地）
His words were clearly wrong.（显而易见地）
8/ close / closely
The student stood close to his head teacher.（接近地）
All the prisoners were closely watched.（严密地）
9/ dead /deadly
She stopped dead.（突然地）
The face of wounded was deadly pale.（死一般地）
deadly 也可以做adj.
a deadly wound 致命的伤
10/ fair / fairly
We should play fair.（公平地）
His English is fairly good.
11/ sharp/sharply
The plane took off at 10 o’clock sharp in the morning .（准时地）
The road turns very sharply.（突然地）
We turned sharp to the left at the second crossroads.
After the alarm had been given ,the great ship turned sharply to avoid a direct collision.
