雅思阅读不怎么容易，它的内容大多是学术性题材；生僻词汇也较多；且句式主干没那么容易一眼看穿，但却很经典。如果只是简单的测试做题，那么就白白浪费了这么好的学习资源，并且收获甚微。

【这句话是开篇语，总结性很高。be confronted with 表示面临，可以用face同义替换。alarm这个词修饰rate of loss of 恰到好处，暗含紧迫感和严峻性。】
2.In the face of the frequent and often vivid media coverage ; Dispite the extensive coverage in the popular media
【Media coverage 表示媒体报道，文中多次出现，vivid形容其生动性，extensive 表示覆盖面广泛，都是特别地道的用法。】
3.The aim of the present study is to start to provide such information,to help teachers design their educational strategies to build upon correct ideas and to displace misconceptions and to plan programmes in environmental studies in their schools.
【这个句子比较有意思，句式很简单，不定式表目的，但是接连出现六次不定式，还是第一次碰见，它并不像中文的排比句，要理清其中逻辑关系全靠标点符号了嘿嘿】
4.The most frequent responses to the first question were descriptions which are self-evident from the term 'rainforest '.
【The most frequent responses 反映最多的是，同样的表达文中还用了the commonest responses , the dominant idea 同义替换。】
5.Pupil's responses indicate some misconceptions in basic scientific knowledge of rainforests' ecosystems.
【indicate表明，可以用reveal 和imply替换。conception的反义词misconception表示误解意思是misunderstanding。ecosystem是ecology 和system 的组成词表示生态系统，在谈论环境和污染时少不了它。】
