We care about justice because it directly concerns our rights. Behind the justice, it is efficiency. To make a group work efficiently, we need to make sure the justice, which means we need to know that sometimes a personal sacrifice would help the group work better. It works when we get along with others too. Giving others what they think they should get we will have a better relationship.
