1. critic和reviewer是两个相关但不同的概念。reviewer的任务更多的是传递信息，所以语言要通俗易懂。
2. 两种文体有的技巧是通用的。作者应该爱好所评论的领域。不要剧透太多，降低读者实际的体验，但是又要用语言让读者如临其境感受到作者所感受的。避免使用华而不实的主观形容词，要用精炼而生动的语言表达你的所见所闻所感。加入细节的描写和例子，让你的形容有所指。
3. criticism是一种严肃的、对思维需求高的艺术。作者需要把这部作品与之前出现过的类似作品或者作者的其他作品进行比较。这就要求作者对该领域有更深的研究。知识储备丰厚的作者才能辨别先锋者和模仿者。
4. critic写作是可以假设读者是有一定背景知识的，所以可以省略关于常识的解说，专注于表达自己的想法，引发读者的思考。除此之外，文章还应该有自己个性。
5. 最好的criticism是有格调的、引人入胜的，并且引发读者思考、重新检视他们以前的观点。如果有些大家都认为是理所当然的事情被打破，critic应该让大众了解。
