Generally speaking, relative policy goes like this:all-primary school students and 90% of those in junior-secondary schools must attend the school closest to their registered home address. The policy has largely affected the house price around schools ,especially well-qulified ones. You know, parents won't stand by doing nothing. The only child and increasingly competive society make numerous helicopter parents.
Good schools are always thought to have better teachers, equipment and environmental atmosphere. Is it true?To some extent ,I buy the theory. But the reality isn't that simple.First, the definition of good teachers is muddy.Second ,it can't go unnoticed that students in those good schools are under great pressure ,which may lead to bad performance of students who can't bear it.Apart from the above,to gain good education is no picnic. It not only depends on school but also family education. What a family can give to children is far from a house near a school. Many other factors should be be put before the house.
So will you be one of those pushy parents who buy a house at an unbelievably high price? My target school isn't only the top school. As long as the school is not that bad ,I think it's on my list.Of course ,much more recearch should be done before making the final decision. Before choosing a school, I also have a lot of work to do,providing my child with a quiet ,clean and tidy study room filled with many interesting books.getting along with family members well, broadening our horizon by reading ,studying and travelling.Recently ,an idea hit me.We have to set rules to behave our children, helping them perform properly and healthily. When they are mature,we may encourage them to think out of box, even breaking some rules to do creative and meaningful things.I will support the child's interest which can probably be a source of happiness in the life.
