As the saying goes, “Success is the sum of small efforts repeatedly daily."
The hardest thing to do is to keep striving when you see no signs of change.
This is because our human brains like tangible, quantifiable, observable evidence that our efforts are getting us closer to what we want and who we want to become (dopamine response).
