课程背景
1、当前，新一轮科技革命和产业变革与我国加快转变经济发展方式形成历史性交汇，国际产业分工格局正在重塑。中国制造业仍然大而不强，对企业来说需要换道超车，在智能时代迎头赶上。而智能制造离不开基础的管理。
2、工业工程(Industrial Engineering 简称IE)，是从科学管理的基础上发展起来的一门应用性工程专业技术。工业工程又分传统IE和现代IE。传统IE是通过时间研究与动作研究，工厂布置，物料搬运，生产计划和日程安排等，以提高劳动生产率。现代IE以运筹学和系统工程作为理论基础，以计算机作为先进手段，兼容并蕴涵了诸多新学科和高新技术。对制造型企业来说，IE是一门为创新、为智能制造打好基础的一门实用学问。是制造型企业广大管理人员和班组员工必须掌握的一门基础学问。现场改善是基础管理中的重要组成部分，以传统IE为主要工具，以现代IE为重要补充。
