Nowhere could be more quiet than a sparse grassland in an autumn afternoon. Yet beneath the seemingly peaceful surface, a conspiracy is brewing.
A black-spotted cheetah is sneaking towards an undefended antelope. It creeps warily forseveral meters, holding its breath. As the distance is narrowed to no morethan 50 meters, the cheetah suddenly dashes to its prey like anarrow. Only at that moment, with a quick glimpse, the poor creature finally became becomes alert to the approaching danger menace and starts to bolt and scream.
This is a life-or-death moment for the desperate antelope. Hunted by the fastest feline in the world within such a short distance, its chance of survival is slender. However, its instinct to escape and fear of death lash it like a whip. It flees away in its maximum speed and thrusts the ground hard by the hind feet to stretch its every leap. Compared to panic-stricken antelope, the predator is rather calm and confident about its movement. Chasing at a full speed, its eyes are always firmly fixed at the rear of the hunted.it fixes its eyes on the back of the hunted all the time.
Only half a meter now. The cheetah throws itself at the prey with all its strength.
The moment eventually arrives.
