Recently I felt really tired and exhausted and I complained to my boss. What I learnt is that no matter how good you are, and no matter what wonderful job you have done, you have to express it in the right way to your boss. Let him know! For instance, from my growing context, I tend to keep a low head and whatever tough thing I've done, I tend to do it and achieve my goal and then there may be a chance that boss would know. However, my boss grew up in the western countries. He prefer to tell you everything that he did not for showing how much work he'd done but in order to let everyone know that he'd been with all of you even he's not in the office. So when I first tried to talk to him about that I'm not happy with what I'm doing right now and I told him the reason with some details. He said he wanted to have a open environment and it always has! I should've told him earlier about these things. And he told me that of course I should let him know all these things I've done to negotiate with him! Well, I guess this is why we have to know people from different culture and with different background have different ideas about the same thing. The only way to handle this problem better is to communicate instead of keeping all these things in you heart.
