L2P1因为事情比较多，领导力也是自己的弱项，找不到相关的事项来说明。因此等到演讲的当天下午才写了一下草稿，在心中大概记住了逻辑图，上台的备稿演讲就变成了临时演讲。
如下为演讲前未完成的文稿。
I was a person without any leadership skill. I work when I get an order from my leader. My voice is too soft and gentle to make others trust in my leadership skill. But I want get more paid. I look around and find out that only when I am a leader or manager of a group can I get more salary. One of the most important skill of a manager is leadership skill. Now I have no choice to train myself into a person with good leadership.
Since I can’t suddenly be a manager in my company, I join a nonprofit organizationas a volunteer. And I finally got a chance to become a project manager leadinga team of eight people. We have to accomplish a project in three month. It isthe first time for me to be a leader. There are lots of difficulties andproblems I have to solve. It’s really hard but I also learn the way of myleadership skill. That is know yourself, accept yourself and then cultivate atrust system among your team.
As a volunteer, we have no salary and have to work things through outside our work time and in our weekends. That means we don’t have time to relax. All of the volunteers are come from different business background, some are students, some are consultant, some are designers. Everyone has different thinking mode. Someone may want to leave the team when they are getting busy with their own work. As a leader, I am anxious and exhausted. Should I run away too? Or should I take responsibility of their work and make me busier. Or should I persuade them not to leave. I start to know myself during the process of dealing with all these problems. Knowing yourself is the first step to cultivate your leadership skill.
When I get through all these problems and find a way to solve them, the other problems begin to show up. I have to stay until 10 o’clok for my job in my company. Afer a whole day work I have to deal with my volunteer work. The tiredness start swallow me. Am I doing the right thing? Does it really worth? In the meantime, angry also start to show up in my mind when my work don’t receive a good feedback. Furthermore,
what I do is to share my knowledge and method with other and get nothing back from others，I can’t see any growth of myself.……
