明天就要过年了。春节期间依旧正常接稿的翻译小哥哥小姐姐们，终于挤出一点宝贵的睡眠时间，写了这弹翻译思路拆解……（咳咳咳，再不赶紧加更，2021年的CATTI真题又要出来了……）
废话少说，进入正题。
今天的拆解原文依旧来自2020年CATTI笔译实务中译英，关于生猪供应：
农业要保持粮食供应。从供给数量看，2019 年我国粮食产量再创新高，棉油糖生产稳定，果菜茶供应充足，但是公众关注生猪供给。受非洲猪瘟等因素影响，今年生猪产能下降较多。一场生猪稳产供保行动在全国各地展开，政府部门从财政支持，用地保障、金融保险等方面持续发力。目前生猪生产已出现回暖，猪肉供应将有所增加。同时，禽肉生产增加较多，牛羊肉生产形式好，肉类供应有保障。
第一句
农业要保持粮食供应。
“农业”可以加个搭配的名词，sector，表示部门领域；
“保持”，有个隐含的意思“稳定、充足”，adequate/sufficient；
“粮食”，是广义上的粮食，不光是rice，这里可以宽泛处理为food。
句子结构就跟着原文语序就好啦：
The agricultural sector must ensure/provide an adequate/sufficient supply of food.
第二句
从供给数量看，2019 年我国粮食产量再创新高，棉油糖生产稳定，果菜茶供应充足，但是公众关注生猪供给。
“再创新高”的表达总结一下：
Reach an all-time high, set/refresh a record, reach/register/climb to/hit a record high, 总之就是一个表示“上升增加达到”的动词搭配“新高”(to) a record/new high /all-time high /a record-breaking number。
“供给数量”这个词感觉是包含在了“产量”里，因此可以考虑省去不译。
第一个小句子，可以用“产量”做主语：
In 2019, our food production/grain output/grain yield reached an all-time high;
也可以用“我国”做主语：
In 2019, we realized a record-breaking food production.
“棉油糖生产稳定，果菜茶供应充足”，这两个小句子结构很一致，译文也可以采取相似的句式结构，比如都用主系表结构：
the output of cotton, oil-bearing crops, and sugar crops remained stable; and the supply of fruits, vegetables, and tea leaves was sufficient.
“生猪”，哪些词可以表示？
Porker, Pig stocks, 此时stock的含义是：[ CU ] ~ (of sth) a supply of sth that is available for use 储备物；备用物；供应物
She's built up a good stock of teaching materials over the years. 这些年来她积累了大量教学资料。
Food stocks are running low. 贮存的食物快吃完了。
a country's housing stock (= all the houses available for living in) 一个国家的住房保有量
还有The number of hogs available for slaughter
还可以用“存栏”表示，Inventory/the number of hogs on hand，所谓“存栏”，就是指牲畜在饲养中，用于统计饲养中的牲畜头数。
herd也可以，表示兽群牧群，但需要有上下文语境提示。
句子结构方面，可以用“公众”做主语：
But the public is concerned about pork supply.
也可以将“关注”转为名词作主语：
but the focus of public concern is pork supply.
第三句
受非洲猪瘟等因素影响，今年生猪产能下降较多。
“非洲猪瘟”基本就是African swine fever，没有什么变化的空间。
“等”，那就是不止非洲猪瘟这一个因素，而是多种因素交织在一起共同导致，a mix of factors。
可为什么只点出了“非洲猪瘟”呢？应该是因为这是主要因素吧，可以加个in particular强调一下：A mix of factors, in particular, African swine fever；
“下降较多”，我们之前总结过很多关于“上升下降”的词，其中表示“暴跌”的比如：slump, tumble, plummet, 如果想不到这些，就用表示“下降”的一般动词搭配表示剧烈程度的副词：substantially, significantly...
讲下句式逻辑：
受……影响（原因状语），产能（主语）下降（谓语）。
这是比较简单朴实的句式，大家也比较容易想到：
Due to African swine fever and other factors, the output of live hogs has tumbled this year.
经常看经济金融方面新闻的小伙伴可能会对 register, record, observe这种动词有印象，它经常和数据或数据方面的涨跌搭配，比如：
The stock exchange has registered huge losses this week. 本周证券交易遭到重创。
此处可以将“下降较多”处理为名词，搭配register谓语：
Due to..., the output ... has registered a huge decline this year.
反过来用被动也可：
Due to..., a huge decline has been recorded/observed in the output...
还有witness, see这种表示某时某地发生某事件的动词也可以用：
Due to..., the output... has seen/witnessed/experienced a huge decline this year.
甚至，我们可以用“因素”做主语，因素导致产量下降，那就是：
因素（主语）严重影响（谓语）产量（宾语）。
A mix of factors, in particular, African swine fever, decimated the hog herd.
第四句
一场生猪稳产供保行动在全国各地展开，政府部门从财政支持，用地保障、金融保险等方面持续发力。
这句话整体呈总分结构，先总的说一场行动，再具体阐述相关措施。
结构上，可以用后半句做句子主干，前半句装在in + n.状语里：
In a nationwide campaign to stabilize pig supplies, the government provides sustained support in fiscal policy, land use, finance, and insurance.
也可以用两个并列的完整句：
A campaign has been launched nationwide to stabilize pig supplies, and sustained government support is provided in fiscal policy, land use, finance, and insurance.
第五句
目前生猪生产已出现回暖，猪肉供应将有所增加。
“回暖”，很多词可以选择，比如recover, pick up, take a turn for the better...
句子结构方面，可以和上一句一样，先确定一个关键信息作为句子主干。这里我们可以选后半句作为关键信息，因为是阐述当下的情况结果，那么前半句也是要放在状语里，在“生猪生产已出现回暖”的情况下：
As hog production recovers/Amidst hog production recovery, the supply of pork is expected to grow/increase/improve.
当然，用两个完整句并列依然是可行的：
Hog production is taking a turn for the better, and growth is expected in pork supply.
第六句
同时，禽肉生产增加较多，牛羊肉生产形式好，肉类供应有保障。
“生产较多”，不能按照中文原文语序硬翻，要注意增词，增什么词呢？增谓语比较方便，比如第一句提到的register, 还有mark，都是表示“呈现（数据、增长等）”。
什么叫“生产形势好”？就是生产情况正常良好，in good shape很简单的词组，可以用起来。注意此时的shape是不可数名词，不需要加冠词的：
[ U ] the physical condition of sb/sth 状况；情况
What sort of shape was the car in after the accident? 这车出过事故以后状况如何？
这句话还是比较碎的，三个小句子，“肉类供应有保障”是前两句话的结果总结，可以放在thus Ving或which...枝干里。
试着写一个译文吧：
Meanwhile, the production of poultry meat registers a substantial/marks growth and that of beef and mutton is in good shape, thus ensuring a stable meat supply / which means the supply of meat is guaranteed.
