Human life is a poem.
剑桥大学，对诗人徐志摩来说，不仅仅是一所学校，是他的精神故乡，是他的梦的乌托邦。那时现实的黑暗，使他心中的梦想渐渐破灭。
《再别康桥》这首诗，是诗人写于从英国归国的轮船上。《再别康桥》是诗人徐志摩在与自己心中的理想道别，悄悄，轻轻，一切都是那般小心翼翼，唯恐惊破心中之梦。现实击碎了美梦，诗人借诗歌抒发自己“康桥”理想的破灭而无限哀伤的情怀。

I leave softly, gently,
Exactly as I came.
I wave to the western sky,
Telling it goodbye softly, gently.
The golden willow at the river edge
Is the setting sun's bride.
Her quivering reflection
Stays fixed in my mind.
Green grass on the bank
Dances on a watery floor
In bright reflection.
I wish myself a bit of waterweed
Vibrating to the ripple.
Of the River Cam.
That creek in the shade of the great elms
Is not a creek but a shattered rainbow,

And inlaid with duckweed,

Hunting a dream? Wielding a long punting pole
I get my boat into green water,
Into still greener grass.
In a flood of starlight,
On a river of silver and diamond
I sing to my heart's content.
But, I cannot sing aloud
Quietness is my farewell music;
Even Summer insects heap silence for me
Silent is Cambridge tonight!

Not even a wisp of cloud will I bring away.
再别康桥

轻轻的我走了，
正如我轻轻的来；
我轻轻的招手，
作别西天的云彩。
那河畔的金柳，
是夕阳中的新娘；
波光里的艳影，
在我的心头荡漾。
软泥上的青荇，
油油的在水底招摇；
在康河的柔波里，
我甘心做一条水草！
那榆荫下的一潭，
不是清泉，是天上虹；
揉碎在浮藻间，
沉淀着彩虹似的梦。
寻梦？撑一支长篙，
向青草更青处漫溯；
满载一船星辉，
在星辉斑斓里放歌。
但我不能放歌，
悄悄是别离的笙箫；
夏虫也为我沉默，
沉默是今晚的康桥！
悄悄的我走了，
正如我悄悄的来；
我挥一挥衣袖，
不带走一片云彩。
诗人剪影
徐志摩（1897 —1931 ），浙江海宁硖石人，现代诗人、散文家。原名章垿，字槱森，留学英国时改名志摩。徐志摩是新月派代表诗人，新月诗社成员。
1921年赴英国留学，入剑桥大学当特别生，研究政治经济学。在剑桥两年深受西方教育的熏陶及欧美浪漫主义和唯美派诗人的影响。奠定其浪漫主义诗风。代表作品有《再别康桥》《翡冷翠的一夜》。
