本周五在头马进行了icebreaker演讲，开启漫漫长征第一步。做回顾总结如下：
准备阶段：
提前5天写好的稿子，GE看了后建议核查语法typos，所以后面每天花一点时间读，做了修订；
倒数第二天和第一天开始背稿子，记录用时，并打印了名字的卡片作为visual aid；
最后一天又想加点笑料，于是加入“给Trace推荐有复杂名字的女朋友，有利于他减肥”。
进行阶段：
紧张感依然有，但是也顺利进行下来了，没有落下句子；
用时4:30，在看到Timer举绿牌子后，过了半分钟终止。
反思阶段：
Self-reflection:
Trace没有来，本来还想互动一下，结果自己和自己互动了，所以笑料处理得不够好，严重怀疑自己是否适合做段子手类演讲者；
回看视频，发现还是有很多卡壳和重复的地方，即使准备了也不能很流利地说出来，下次还是要提前用手机录一下，增强临场感；
Advice from others:
GE-Jack:手不要一直拿着卡片，放松出来可以更灵活；第三部分关于powerful的表达不够深入，除了arm上的还可以有其他象征意义；
Grammarian-Lily: 清辅音发音不标准，比如that、like、sense of appreciation、end up、life、think；

Ice-breaker: Self-introduction
Good evening,everyone. I am Eva, here to introduce myself. And I will begin with what myEnglish name “Eva”means.
E stands for “Easy”.As we know, fairy tales always end up with “Since then, the prince and princesslive a happy life together”. While for me, living an easy life is what I pursue. Let us back to see “Eva”, with threewords in it, easy to write and easy to say. Actually, I cannot imagine what mylife would be if my English name is Elizabeth, Gabriella or Angelababy. Anotherexample is the fact that I seldom go window-shopping. For choices like food andcloth is easy for me. And when I make these choices quickly, I find life iseasier because effort can be saved to make decisions that mean more.
The secondalphabet is V, with the meaning of “variable”. Even though we maybe contentwith routine life, I feel like creating variable to make life more exciting. Duringthis New Year Eve, I joined a volenteer group to protect cowfish, one kind ofendangered animal in Yangtze River in Jiujiang, where I actually felt a senseof loss and grieving with respect to these lovely animals, and a sense ofappreciation to the long-term volunteers. I like doing things like this, coupledwith traveling to somewhere new, developing a new skill, try new foods andgoing to Toastmaster. For it is incredibly refreshing to discover a new worldthat you have never seen before.
The last one is A,defining something interesting, one part of my body, “Arm”. In high school, I wasalways surprised by my classmate, a cool girl, who was though shorter andthinner than me, for her carrying one pail or two pails of bottled watergoing upstairs to our classroom with ease. By contrast, I could not lift itfrom the ground to the water dispenser. Years has passed, the figure of thatlittle cool girl is clearer than before, rather than pale in my mind. So Idecide to exercise my arms. And I am glad to see my arm muscle is harder andfirmer than before.
This is Eva, who wants to make things easy, make life variable, and make arms powerful.
