Position Description:
Coordinator, Business Development is responsible for strategically prospecting clients and assisting the department in efforts to reach the revenue target.
Major Responsibilities:
Day-to-day support on pitching new prospects for sponsorship.
Support strategic analysis on potential clients and categories
Build client presentations and pitches and provide significant insight to marketplace and prospect approach.
Develop strong, respectful relationships and build credibility with appropriate partners.
Follow and understand marketplace trends in Media, Marketing, and Sports and how these trends relate back to NBA China's business and goals.
Be knowledgeable of industry domestically and internationally, and their impact on the Media business and overall business of NBA China.
Maintain and manage relationships with external partners including, but not limited to, Media Agencies and Client contacts
Required Experience & Knowledge:
Native Mandarin and fluency in written and spoken English.
Must have, and be able to exhibit, knowledge of Sponsorships, Marketing, Sales, Media and Sports.
Must work well within a team.
Must be proactive, driven, self-motivator.
Must be well-organized and able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in fast-paced, highly-pressurized, result oriented environment.
Strong communication skills
Minimum 1-2 years of business development experience or relevant and related agency experience.
Proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be resourceful and creative to find solutions to obstacles.
Ability to gather data from a variety of sources, analyze findings, draw conclusions and plan course of action.
Educational Background Required:
University Degree
