自从Kiki上了幼儿园，我们一起亲自共读的时间少了，今天来一本Maisy 这一系列的一本书，我个人觉得非常适合刚开始英语启蒙的孩子，因为他更多的是小孩子日常熟悉的生活场景，比较容易融入到生活中使用。
大家对Maisy都非常熟悉了，我就不多介绍啦！一个非常可爱的小白鼠。记得她是个girl哦。哈哈，讲故事的时候宝妈们别忘了用she。今天我要分享的故事是Maisy's Pool.
这几天，忽冷忽热的天气有没有让我们感受到夏天的味道，夏天快来了，小朋友们有没有想着各种凉爽的玩法，今天我们就来和Maisy一起来玩玩他的Paddling Pool吧。
Today Join Maisy and her friends as they try to stay cool in the sun. From blowing up the paddling pool to showering under Eddie’s truck!（哈哈，我盗用的封底的话，貌似很好用。“今天我们和Maisy她们一起试试在大大的太阳下享受清凉吧。从给小水池充气到站在Eddie的象鼻下冲凉。”真是大热天里的，一个不错的选择！）

啊哈，快看快看，Maisy在干什么呀？
Hello Maisy! Aaha, what are you going to do today, Maisy?(这是Maisy动画片里那个声音富有磁性的配音叔叔几乎每天都会问的一句话，哈哈，我们也借用一下吧。看谁学的像？)
A wading pool! 是一个浅浅的小水池哦！
哇塞，Maisy and Tallulah wear their beautiful suits.(哈哈，Maisy穿的是五彩衣服哦！)。
Tallulah is sitting in the pool. (Tallulah已经坐在水池里啦)。
What does she look like? Aaha, have fun! 她看上去什么表情？很开心哦！你觉得呢？（注意：Tallulah标志性的蓝色蝴蝶结，Look, Tallulah’s head, aha, Blue Bow again!）
嗯？他们怎么穿着衣服在水里呀？（一崽是这么问我的？）
You guess!你猜猜看？
Story：
我们先和宝宝们一起看图画书吧！
［What a lovely day! The sun is shining bright!今天可真是个好天气!太阳高高挂呀！
How about Tallulah? Why is she sitting on the ground? Is she sick? She seems a little bit tired and sick? Tallulah怎么啦？？怎么坐在地上了呢？？她看上去是不是有点像病怏怏的？
（动画片里的她就在不断的扇风，热得更逼真哦！）
注意他们的着装，可以拓展一下，Tallulah穿的是red spotty dress, Maisy穿的是yellow spotty pants and purple shirt。
Maisy and Tallulah are feeling hot.
啊哦！原来是因为太热了！
Maisy has an idea. She looks in her shed...
Maisy有了个好主意，她到她的小房子里去找什么东西了？？是什么呢？
And finds the paddling pool.
Maisy找到了小水池
Maisy blows it up. Puff, puff, puff!
Maisy正给他吹气呢。噗呼，噗呼，噗呼！
［Aha，原来刚刚Maisy去找小水池去咯。看来他们是想泡澡来避暑了咯？（Wading pool也是这种小水池哦。）
Tallulah fills the pool with water.
Tallulah开始给水池注水咯。
［Almost done! Now they need some water.
吹得差不多咯，现在他们需要些水啦。
She uses a long hose.
她用了一根长长的水管哦。
（我们可以加点料，告诉宝，”水龙头”怎么说turn on the tap, 放水run the water）
Oh look! Maisy and Tallulah put on their swimming costumes.
(也可以说They’ve changed into their bathing suits.)
快看，Maisy和Tallula他们换上了泳装！
Ready, steady...
预备~~~走起~~~（吼吼，这样说有点土波？）
［他们好像还在做运动呢，游泳嬉戏前应该做做准备运动？还是在泳装秀呢？宝们，自己去想象吧！
接下啦，我们可以用这个句子串联过渡：
What are they going to do? Aha, jumping into the pool?
可是她们要去干什么呢？是跳到小水池里吗？
Oh dear, the padding pool has a hole in it!
哦，天哪！这水池上有个洞洞！
［如果可以的话，我们可以用这样的惊讶的语气，带点夸张的表情，来给宝宝们描述这个场景，这样每天讲故事的感觉就像是新的体验：
天哪？怎么还没有装满水呀！？
Oh dear, the paddling pool still isn’t full. Why? Why？）
Aha！It has a hole in it！原来是有一个洞！
地上有没有湿了呀？Yes, the ground’s all wet.
What shall they do? 怎么办呢？
（现在宝有时候洗澡就会在澡盆四周看看，说，我们的盆没有洞！甚是高兴。）
Maisy mends the hole with sticky tape. That’s better.
Maisy用胶带把水池的破洞给粘好了。好多了！
这时，把准备好的胶带拿出来，哈哈，sticky tape we can use，方便以后补书或者做游戏的时候，可以直接对应上。
拓展一下：Good job! 恩，不错！
这个短语用来夸奖宝宝，很受用的。
Then along comes Eddie in his swimming trunks....
哈哈，这时候Eddie穿着他的泳裤来了。
我们仔细看看会发现，Eddie 的泳裤很美的，数数看有几多花。Oh, there are so many flowers on his swimming trunks. Count it. One, two, three, four, five flowers. Aha, so cute!（这种小细节，宝发现得比我还快。）(如果宝喜欢的话，可以加料咯，Eddie is a little elephant. He has a long nose and four big feet.宝喜欢Big feet大脚车，所以说大象有big feet他会很开心。不过，象鼻子我们应该说TRUNK，恩，这个好像跟Eddie之前穿的游泳裤用的是一个词。
And sits in the pool!
呀，Eddie一下坐到水池里了！！
Oh Eddie, there’s no room for Maisy and Tallulah.
嘿，Eddie, Maisy和Tallulah没有地方泡凉水澡啦。
哦，Eddie！He is too big! Splash，Splash！他体积太大了，水都溢出来咯！
But Eddie gives Maisy and Tallulah a shower.
但是，Eddie 帮Maisy和Tallulah洗了个淋浴。
Now everyone is cool.
现在，大家都很凉爽了哦！
［哈哈，原来Eddie是想给Maisy和Tallulah带来了新玩法哦。让他们享受了太阳底下最棒的淋浴。］
好朋友在一起总是最开心的！
