People are often nervous or apprehensive before preforming in front of an audience.

People who are really nervous may feel tense which is the opposite of relaxed.

(Sometimes,taking a deep breath can help a nervous person feel more relaxed.)

(When someone is nervous their muscles often tense up and their heart reate increases. )


apprehensive  adj.忧虑的; 担心的; 疑惧的; 恐惧的;

an audience 指的是一群观众,audience就指的是观众群体

500个观众, an audience of 500     一定要说某个观众,可以 a member of an audience


Someone who strongly believes in their ability to do something is often confident.

The best way to built confidence is to practice what you are going to do until you can do it with ease.

(The key to building confidentce and reducing nervousness is effective and frequent practice.)

(Someone with confidence can perform at a higher level than someone who is nervous.)


confident adj.自信的; 有自信心的;  n.知己; 心腹朋友;

confidence n.信心; 信任; 信赖; 自信心;

ease  n.容易; 轻易; 不费劲; 舒适; 安逸; 自在; 无忧无虑;  v.(使) 宽慰; 减轻; 缓解; 

with ease  [词典]轻松地; 容易地; 不费力地;


To be indifferent means to not care one way or the other about something. 不管是怎么回事。

If you are indifferent to a person or  project ,it means that the person or project isn't important to you.

(People who are indifferent may not value anything or anyone but themselves.)重视任何人和事,除了他们自己。

(People who are indifferent are often cold and uncaring about others.)


indifferent  adj.漠不关心; 不感兴趣; 不很好的; 一般的;

one way or the other   网络总要有一个办法; 不管怎样;

value v.重视; 珍视; 给…估价; 给…定价;

uncaring adj.冷漠的; 无同情心的;


To be appreciative is to be thankful or grateful for something.

If someone does something nice for you,you should appreciate it .

(If someone does a favor for you,you should show your appreciation by thanking them.)


appreciative adj.感激的; 感谢的; 欣赏的; 赏识的;

appreciation  n.欣赏; 理解; 体谅; 同情; 感激; 感谢;

thankful  adj.感谢; 感激; 欣慰;

grateful adj.感激的; 表示感谢的; 

should +动词原形,虚拟语气

something nice   形容词修饰不定代词something等的时候要放在不定代词之后.

favor    n.喜爱,宠爱,好感,赞同; 偏袒,偏爱; 善行,恩惠;  v.赞同; 喜爱,偏爱; 有利于,便于;


To be depressed is the opposite of to be happy.

When someone is depressed ,they feel very sad.

(When people are depressed,they are usually pessimistic about the future.)

(Depression can be caused by disappointing news or by failing to reach a goal.)


depressed   adj.抑郁的; 沮丧的; 意志消沉的; 患抑郁症的; 不景气的; 萧条的; 经济困难的;

disappointed adj.失望的; 沮丧的; 失意的;

isappointing adj.令人失望的; 令人沮丧的; 令人扫兴的;


(When you are really sad ,you may be?)

(If someone does a favor for you ,you should be?)  

(when you say 'thank you' to somebody, you are showing?)

(If you don't value or care about things,then you are?)

(If you don't care about anything, then you may be ?)

(Someone who has practiced a lot and believed in his or her ability is ?)

(This is how many people feel just before giving a performance)

(People who are really nervous may feel tense,which is the opposite of relaxed.)

(When you are really sad ,you maybe depressed.)

(It's important to show your appreciation for someone's support or help.)
