Hard though he try, it may be the day of judgment for the antelope, behind which a robust cheetah is chasing. Quite a large number of people tend to mix cheetahs up with leopards because of their extremely similar appearance,the little round spots spreading the whole body, for instance, but differences can be pointed out when comparing them carefully. Their "tear-stained"marks running from the corner of eyes down the side of their nose to the mouth is one of the most notable characteristics different from leopards. What is more, their smaller stature and flat head also set them apart. Cheetah is born to be an excellent hunter for the huge leg muscles as well as lightweight body frame endow them the ability to accelerate to an unbelievable fast speed of about 96km/h in only three seconds. But this energy-taking process cannot last long. So as for the poor antelope, to be or not to be, it remains to be seen.
