BUILDING YOUR HOUSE

As a woman, you play an important role in the lives of those closest to you. You represent the Lord and serve as a role model to those around you. You are an example every single day. You build a reputation over time, and your family and friends learn what matters most to you through your reactions to life’s circumstances, both the blessings and the trials.

When a house is built, it must stand on a firm foundation. If your life is built upon the foundation of faith, it will shine before others and provide strength for them as well.

Resist the urge to focus on the outward and be content with less than those around you materially. True treasures are not found through online shopping but by tapping into the power source of your Lord and Savior.

Seek the wisdom of the Father through His holy Word and through prayer. Associate with other believers in the Christian community. Find time to rest and set yourself apart from the busy, busy, busy of this world. These things will help you to establish a house built with wisdom as its basis.

Lord, may I build my life upon a foundation of faith in You.
