什么是国际演讲会（TI）？

国际演讲会是一个全球性的非营利事业组织，其成立的原因是基于帮助有志人士学习说话、倾听与思考，进而运用这些技巧，达到推动自我实现、增强领导力的目的。

国际演讲会最早建立于1924年，在美国加利福尼亚州，距今已经有92年的历史。

目前于全球135多个国家和地区拥有超过1.5万个会员组织以及约332,000名会员。

1999年，中国大陆第一个Toastmasters俱乐部在上海成立，后发展迅速。

2007年，第85大区正式成立。

2012年，第85大区拥有230家俱乐部，超过6,000名会员，正式拆分为第85大区（华北地区，华东地区）和第89大区（华南地区，香港澳门）。

2016年，第85大区俱乐部数量超过200家，即将拆分为第85大区和第88大区。

2016年7月1日起，中国已拥有第85大区、第88大区、第89大区三个大区。

What is TI？

Toastmasters International (TI) is a world leader in communication and leadership development, alsoa non-profit educational organization.

The world needs leaders.By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters program.

Toastmasters was firstly foundedin1924in California, U.S.

It has been92 yearsfrom itsinitiation. And now it has nearly 332,000members in 15,400 clubs in more than 135 countries and regions.

In 1999,thefirst Toastmasters Club in China was established.

In 2007, District 85 was set up officailly.

In 2012, District 85 was divided into District 85 (North and East China) and District 89 (South China), as District 85 accommodated 230 clubs with more than 6,000 members.

In 2016, District 85 club number will be over 200, and it will be split into two districts: District 85 and District 88.

After July 1st, 2016, there areDistrict 85, District 88 and District 89 in China.

They are a group of lively and energetic people, they have passion and knowledge, they enjoy learning and sharing, and they open their minds to see the world in a totally different way.

Based on the Toastmasters Education Program, they improve speaking, communication, organization, leadership skills and become more effective communicators and leaders.

教育培训

国际演讲会秉承“从实践中学习”的精神，为会员提供一个学习环境，以契合自身的发展目标。该教育计划一分为二:

沟通力成长路径 (Communication Track）

领导力成长路径 (Leadership Track)

鼓励会员们参加两条成长路径的课程，两者并不互相排斥，可以同时学习成长。两者对特定成就均提出褒奖。下图显示了各条路径的成长轨迹。

Education Program

Toastmasters takes the spirit of "learning by doing" .

It provides an educational environment for members to correspond to their development objectives.

The Toastmasters education program consists of two tracks:

Communicationtrack

Leadershiptrack

Members are encouraged to participate in both tracks.

The two tracks are not mutually exclusive.

Members can work in both at the same time.

Both provide recognition for specific accomplishments.

会议流程

俱乐部常规会议一般一周或两周举办一次，每次会议时间在1~2小时左右，视俱乐部规模和参会人数决定。每次会议有严格的时间把控，借此方式提高会员的时间意识。

会议的基本议程一般包含三项：

即兴演讲

既定演讲

点评

整场会议由总主持人（TM-Toastmaster）串联。

三大环节介绍：

即兴演讲环节：

即兴演讲主持人提出问题，邀请某一个观众上台，该观众将针对此话题，发表1-2分钟的演讲。

借此来锻炼会员即兴演讲能力。

既定演讲环节：

会员根据演讲手册上不同项目的要求，经过一段时间的准备后，上台进行较长时间的演讲（一般是5-7分钟）。

会员通过准备，排练以及正式演讲过程中提高公众演讲能力。

点评环节：

由总点评人（General Evaluator）主导，点评人（Individual Evaluator）对演讲者的演讲做出点评，点评中会指出演讲的优点、不足以及改进意见。

借此来锻炼会员倾听与思考能力。会员之间相互点评，相互鼓励，共同提高，同时帮助俱乐部持续改进会议质量。

此外，还有计时员（Timer)，语言评论员（Grammarian）和尾音计算员（Ah-counter）等会议角色的报告。

Introduction of Three Sessions:

Table Topics:

Table Topic Master will raise questions and invite audience to come to the stage to deliver a 1~2 minutes impromptu speech.

Table Topics is a long-standing Toastmasters tradition intended to help members develop their ability to organize their thoughts quickly and respond to an impromptu question or topic.

Prepared Speeches:

Members prepare speeches according to manual objectives, and deliver a long time speech on the stage (usually 5~7 minutes).

Every speaker is a role model and club members learn from one another's speeches.

Evaluation:

In Toastmasters, feedback is called evaluation, and it is the heart of the Toastmasters educational program. You observe the speeches and leadership roles of your fellow club members and offer evaluations of their efforts, and they do the same for you.

The General Evaluator leads the session, Individual Evaluators will evaluate the speaker’s prepared speech, pointing out the shining points and suggestions for improvement.

In addition, role-takers such as Timer, Grammarian, Ah-counter will also deliver their reports based on the observation of the whole meeting.
