The monsters will come back agai

最近，新型冠状病毒的出现，使得全中国人心惶惶。我这两天看了一部有关病毒的美剧《血疫》，颇有感慨。

If a person is infected by a virus, who will be infected first? It's the caregiver, the nurse who passes it from one patient to the next, and when she's sick, her husband and daughter take care of her, and when we show each other love, kindness and affection, the virus spreads. This new coronavirus outbreak is bound to pass. It is a disaster and a warning. We can ignore it or look into the future. There has to be another outbreak. We're not ready. We have to stop waiting for a virus to break out before we can respond. Instead, we have to plan ahead.

一个人被病毒感染，谁会先被传染？是看护者，护士把它从一个病人传播给下一个病人，当她生病时，她的丈夫和女儿会照顾她，当我们互相展现爱，善良和感情的时候，病毒就会传播。这次新型冠状病毒的爆发一定会过去，它是一次灾难，也是一个警告，我们可以选择忽略，也可以直视未来。一定还会有下一次的病毒爆发，我们还没有准备好。我们必须停止在病毒爆发后才做出应对方案，相反我们应该未雨绸缪。

The emergence of large numbers of viruses seems to be a natural consequence of human encroachment on previously undisturbed environments. Perhaps the earth's immune system is already aware of the most destructive pathogens. That's human.

When one virus is suppressed, the other will continue to mutate and survive. When we clear the virus'nest and destroy its host, he'll need a new host, and that's us. Viruses have survived for billions of years, and because they're smart, they've learned to mutate, and when they come back, they're stronger than ever.

The monsters will come back again. We need to be ready.
