I am the pen pal long ago you forgot;
I don’t really know what happened then.
I wonder if you’ll comfort me or not;
Maybe because life just wouldn’t bend.
I never told you this back then
I sat by the window; the person who saved me was you.
The only one left out from a party again
No longer single, pretty lucky to have you
I have to admit that sometimes I lied,
But I still want you to be my friend.
The ink was stained and ran as I cried,
Mix tapes with Kate to you I would send.
