While such numerical standards seem straightforward, they are not. Obesity is probably less a matter of weight than body fat. 2.despite the fact that; although 虽然；尽管
While I accept that he's not perfect in many respects, I do actually like the man. 虽然我承认他在很多方面不是那么完美，但我实际上还是非常喜欢这个男人的。
3.compared with the fact that; but 但是 (这个意思是我们考研经常出现的，还有后面大作文进行数据对比的时候也喜欢用while)
