Tonight, BY took the kids out and I made some time to look through my closet. I found a red stripped shirt which is of very good quality, however, when I put it on, I felt my face immediately become dark and blurry in a bad way. After a little hesitation, I decided to abandon this shirt. I guess this shirt does not go along with me because it has two strong elements: the red color and strips. And I do not have strong body features to match these elements.
And that gives away to this fundamental question: what is my personal style? A personal style is supposed to suit a person's looking, personality, the overall impression that he/she leaves on others. After some observation, I find my personal style is quite similar to Mori girl, who has cheerful, calm and simple aesthetic. The colors go well with me include white, beige, mustard, maroon, light pink, baby blue, light grey, black, army green. Am I cool or warm color? I think I am more a moderately warm color.
So before purchasing new clothes, keep my personal style in mind, do not take the garment home just because it looks good on a model or it is of good material and quality.
