1. 初阶入门级,又比1阶的无字书更实用;
2. 毛毛虫点读版,背景音效增加趣味性,吸引孩子读下去;
3. 标准英音,可以优化孩子的发音;
4. 故事性强,让孩子逐渐融入Kipper的家庭;
When and how:什么时间?
为什么把“when and how”放在后边? 所以,我觉得,最关键的三个元素就是“who, where, what”,最核心的是“who, what”。
Kipper,Biff, Chip
Where:客厅
Kipper,Biff, Chip are standing in their living room by the window. We can see smiles on their faces. They are looking outside, happily. What are they looking at? Oh, a cat, a sleeping black cat on the lawn (in their garden).
Biff makes a gesture of “please”. She looks at the little black cat with a smile. She gently says “Go away, little cat.” Kipper is pulling the door and about to come out. The little black cat is still lying on the lawn, opening one of its eyes.
Chip
Kipper makes a gesture of “please”. He smiles at the little black cat and says “go away, little cat. A dog is coming.” Has the cat gone away? No, it even stands up and rubs its head on Kipper’s leg. Biff looks at them quietly. Where is Chip? He is by the door. He pulls the door and wants to come outside.
Chip opens his arms to show “a big” size and points at the door, saying “Go away, little cat. A big dog is coming.” Has the little cat gone away? No, instead, it sits on the lawn, licking its paw. Kipper looks at them quietly. Biff turns her head and looks towards the door. Floppy, the big dog, is coming out.
Who:Floppy
Floppy runs so fast. He leaps towards the little black cat, staring at it and opening his mouth wide. We almost hear his “barking”. What will the children do? Chip is so frightened that he wants to cover his mouth. Biff shows a quite worried face. Kipper moves his arms. Does he want to hold the little cat? Probably! How about the little black cat? Is it scared or fierce? It arches its back and raises its tail. What will happen?
Who:Floppy,
Where:照旧
What:Floppy
The little black cat is very fierce. It hops and then leaps, chasing Floppy. We can imagine that it makes a loud sound, “meow”! How about Floppy now? He is freaked out and has to run away. Kipper is still a little bit worried. Chip is relieved. Biff is smiling now. So, the black cat, being smaller than Floppy, is fiercer than Floppy, right?
