Keep是英语中的一个常用动词，用法如下：

一、Keep用作及物动词，意为“（暂时）保管、（暂时）存放、保存、保留”等，有时也可以表示“借”的意思

二、Keep用作及物动词，意为“遵守（诺言、法律、条款等）、保守（秘密等）”

eg:He is a man who always keeps his words.他是一个说话算数的人

三、Keep用作及物动词常用句型为"keep sth/sb+宾语补足语"，意为“使......保持某种状态”,可以分为以下三种情况：

1.keep+ 宾语 +形容词/副词

eg:Please keep the door and window open.请把门窗开着

2.keep+宾语+介词短语

eg:Please keep your hands behind your back.

3.Keep sb/sth doing

eg:Don't keep them working day and night.不要让他们部分白天黑夜的工作

四、keep doing/keep on doing 表示"继续/一直/老是/反复做某事"。
