为什么？他问自己

五十岁的诗人已写诗三十年

二十岁的诗人已写诗二百首

四十岁开始写诗

为什么呀？他傻笑

他看水中的倒影

那不是个文艺青年

倒像被生活压得扁扁的一张饼

再压，就从身体的缝隙里压出

反抗的气泡，破裂的词语

他喘口气，开始写诗

要把自己重新撑起来

撑不起来，就用诗给饼加点盐

那样烤了会更好吃些

Start writing poetry at age forty

Why? He asks himself

Fifty year old poets have been writing for thirty years

Twenty year old poets have written two hundred poems

Start writing poetry at age forty

Why? He chuckles

He looks at the reflected image in the water

That is not an artsy dude

But more like a pancake squashed flat by life

With a little more pressure

Some rebellious bubbles and broken phrases

Pop out of the cracks

He takes a breath and starts writing poems

An attempt to pump himself up again

If not, he would use poems as salt added to the pancake

This will make it a better toast
