Recently I read one book called to live written by Yuhua, which tells the story of a family struggling for life. Bertrand Russell says that three passions have governed his life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. I couldn't help thinking what I have lived for?
As a young mother, do I live for my parents or my girl? The answer is No. Among the three passions for my life, to follow my heart is probably the most important reason that I have lived for. To follow my heart doesn’t mean do whatever I like. On the contrary, it is another kind of bondage. When I choose to do what I like to do, I had to give up other things too.
Before 20, what I have lived for is my school performance. When I was a primary student in grade 3, I got up early at 4 am one day. I was crying so sadly because I can’t finish my composition, I was worried that I couldn’t finish the test. My crying is so loudly that my older sister who lived next to me came to help me finish my grade composition, finally I got full marks. However after examination, I almost had forgotten what happened. Though I lived for my examination, I was happy at that time, examination is the only way to checkout my performance. Passing the examination is to follow my heart.
After graduation from college, I started to realize that interest is more important for me. I started to live for my interest. Last May Day I travelled with my colleagues to climb Wudang Moutain ,we climbed for 4 hours,when I arrived at the top of the moutaining,the senery is so beautiful that I could’t descripe it with any words. Then I made a decision I would climb a moutain for every year at least. Last year’s National Day I travelled to Sichuan for one week, actually I feel a little tired,but happier.To make friends,enjoy the beautiful scenery,eat dilicious food,which made me realized that what the poem and far away were. The feeling of following my heart is perfect.
