We admire past properous era, and thought that is the golden times. Actually, your present is already your golden times.

A/ Gil fell in love with two women in different era,it's very mysterious. But I think it also showed that it's common for human beings to love two at the same time. That's why people cheating on each other.Gil is special, because the two women in two different era.

B/ Gil accompanied his lover went back to the old time, his lover would love to stay, he persuaded her that now long after this era will become your present, then you will wanna go to another era, no end. That's what he learned from his experience, but his lover refused to accept his suggestion. She stayed. 

C/ Finally, Gil decided to live in Paris and broke up with his fiance. They two really have many things not in common. For example, Gil loves Paris so much, especiall in the rain. So when Gil walked on the street alone, he met a girl who also loves to walk in the rain and totally not mind getting wet. They two went to cafe happily in the rain. I think sometimes we met someone but he/she is not the right person, if we can bravely give it up and look for a new one. Maybe possibly we can have the right person.

3、What did you learn from the movie?

Not really learn something. Just seduce me to travel Paris. When I got married ten years ago, I had a dream to see lavender in Provence. Now my daughter is almost 10 years old, the dream haven't come true yet. I'll be there one day! Walking on the Paris street.

Gil was a movie writer and now he wanted to become a novel writer. He and his fiance went to Paris to travel, accidently he went back to many years ago and met many famous writers,painters and musicians. Stories happened...
