The book tells us :Two lovely mice Sniff and Scurry, together with two little people Hem and Haw live in a big maze. They have to find cheese to feed themselves. Just as their names show, Sniff has a great sense of sniff and Scurry is able to run very fast. They are simple thoughts, because they are mice. But two little people are much cleverer than these mice. The ending is suprising enough, the mice firstly adapt the changing situation, and they find new cheese. Our two little people are still discussing the reasons and analyzing their situation. They are afraid of changing and losing, and they are overly plicated. Emotional intelligence sometimes do not advance way. The poorest character is hem, no one know his fate in the future. But we can imagine how hard it will be. He would be nothing if he refuse changes. Haw is much luckier, he take changes when he awake to his fault and learn a lot from the process.

The story tells us to go out of the dilemma and adjust ourselves to the changing circumstances and enjoy the changes.
