From the most abstract deep blue

问孰细耳语，

Whose whispers

遥自玄黛色？

Through the frozen night air

轻透霜虚紫，

Melt my ears

昵昵温吾耳。

When quietly dew flows

夜露默浮流，

Closely nestle two figures

倚欹两人儿。

Slightly through pine leaves wind breezes

寒影松风抚，

Towards moonlight sing cicadas on branches

清辉木蝉歌。

How much warm blood should gather in such chilly darkness

冰宇一流焰，

To form a meteor’s blazes

温红聚几何？
