今天想休息

今天不想学习，所以我给自己换了个轻松的活儿，学英语。

我喜欢学英语，尤其是口语，这让我觉得很轻松，所以，想休息的时候，我选择英语练习。

学了一会儿，突然想起自己曾经买过相关课程，正好犯懒的时候可以看。

今天刚刚好可以看一节——

Once when I was six years old I saw a magnificent picture in a book,called True Stories from Nature,about the primeval forest. It was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. Here is a copy of the drawing.

magnificent:adj. 宏伟的，壮丽的

primeval ：adj.原始的，远古的

boa constrictor：n.巨蟒

In the book it said:"boa constrictors wallowing their prey whole, without chewing it. After that there are not able to move , and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion.

prey:n.猎物

chew:v.咀嚼

digest：v.消化
