[1]日前，郑州大学保卫处举办朴实、隆重的仪式，欢送考取国内知名大学研究生的王强强、张前进、赵威、冯阳、白鹏飞校卫队员。

[1] The other day(A few days ago), SecurityDepartment of Zhengzhou University had a simple but ceremonious get-together towarmly send off five security guard-turned-postgraduates to famous universitiesin China, respectively Wang Qiangqiang, Zhang Qianjin, Zhao Wei, Hong Yang andBai Pengfei.

[2]王强强，在郑大完成了自己从高中生、高校保安到知名大学研究生的励志人生。2009年高中毕业后，王强强从农村老家来到校保卫处当上了一名校卫队员，几年来，在完成保卫处繁重、辛苦的值班、巡逻工作之余，他没有一天放弃过学习，靠自学考试先后获得了大学专科、本科学历，并于今年6月份以高分考取了西南政法大学宪法学与行政法学专业硕士研究生。

[2]Wang Qiangqiang is a typical case out of thefive, who has gone through an inspirational life stage in Zhengzhou Universityfrom a senior high school graduate to a security guard and then to apostgraduate of a well-renowned university. In 2009 after graduating from asenior high school, Wang Qiangqiang worked as a security guard atZhengzhouUniversityfrom his rural home. In thepast few years, not a single has gone by without being fully used by Wang forself-study at the intervals between duty shifts, who has to fulfill the tasksassigned by Security Department by faithfully performing his patrolling duties,so he has forged ahead and obtained his junior college degree and bachelordegree, and was honorably accepted into the Postgraduate Constitution andAdministrative Law Program of Southwest University of Political science and Law(SWUPL) with good grades in June 2013.

[3]王强强接到西南政法大学的《录取通知书》后，仍然坚持保卫处暑期值班工作，一直到9月初才依依不舍地离开了学校。
