关于育儿，从我自己来说就是从小把孩子作为一个成人看待，凡事都不是以大人的意志出发，培养孩子的自主意思和思维能力。
自我决定论认为，所有的人，包括孩子都有三个基本心理需要：归属感（relatedness）、自主感（autonomy）和胜任感（competence）。如果得到满足，内在动机就提高了。

一、描述性的鼓励比笼统的称赞或奖励提供了更多的成就信息（胜任感）。
二、慎用“如果……那么……”“只有……才……”，如果用也要尽量减少操控的语气。相反，增加孩子的理解、认可和亲子情感联结是有益的。
三、当孩子做到的时候，可以用庆祝的方式给予孩子正面反馈，避免了负面作用。庆祝的好处是意外的惊喜，孩子却不会以为他下次做到了，自然还有奖励（避免了“如果……就……”）
四、孩子如果参与了约定和协商（被尊重，也体会到自主感），也有助于形成内在动机。
五、孩子如果提出自己的建议，用了自己想的方法（自主感），也通过自己的努力做的比原计划更好（胜任感），自然会更有助于形成内在动机。
