飞黄腾达属于群体面试类真人秀节目。人数众多的情况下，用一两句话介绍自己就成了吸引老板和观众眼球的关键之一，因为后续可以用通关任务来进一步加深印象。第一印象可以说很重要，如何突出亮点、掩盖瑕疵是一个非常重要的自我介绍技巧。
16个面试者基本上都用两三句话来介绍自己。在这几句话里，一定都是塑造正面优秀的自己。
学历高一定会着重突出。

公司不大，可以提及自己身居要职，避重就轻。

学历低可以提，甚至是为了之后提及创业成功的铺垫，有一个对比明显的喜剧效果。（前面的jessi也是用了这个对比，效果明显）

如果不想提起学历又不是高管，又没有创业，那就突出资深二字，并隐去公司，直接说所属行业，这样虽笼统但范围大。或者干脆卖惨，当然这是下下策。

最特殊的是有omarosa和amy。omarosa直接提到自己曾为总统工作，其实无论是实习生还是副总统都算为总统工作，但是往大了说也算是一种让人印象深刻的自我介绍。这里就属她最啰嗦，而且和商业毫不沾边。在真人秀里表现的只能做到增加节目戏剧冲突。
