①What the drawing depicts is thought-provoking.②It is widely believed that the old and the young are two indispensable parts in society, andwhat we have and enjoy now was created by our parents in the early days, just as an old Chinese saying goes,“One generation plants trees under whose shade another generation rests”.③Nevertheless, with today’s society becoming increasingly competitive, many young people are now working at places far away from theirparents, leaving them little time to care the elderly.④As a result,without each other’s accompany, family bonds are diminishing, and the sense ofmutual support between the old and the young has declined.

①To resolve this problem, therefore, concerted efforts are required from the two sides: the child and the parent.②The young should regard it as a moral obligation to respect and take care of old parents,whereas it is also the duty of parents to protect, educate and look after children.③Only through this way can we re-establish close family bonds and make the world a more harmonious and better place.
