每年在北京召开的“两会”，也就是全国人民代表大会（the National People's Congress, NPC）和中国人民政治协商会议（the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, CPPCC），在英文中通常称为“the two sessions”。

中文的“会”是一个简称，在英语中有多种表达方式，最常见的是meeting，另外还有conference、congress、convention等。
