Tax or taxes

之前从没关注过“税”在英语中的表达问题。

最近学习，才发现了一点儿门道。

单独说到某税时，用Tax，T大写，用单数，表示单一税种，比如，烟叶税，Tobacco Tax。

如果提到的是某一类税种时，用taxes，t小写，用复数，表示多个税种，比如，财产和行为税，Property and behavior taxes。

另外，表达单一税种时，除了连接词，其他单词首字母均大写，表示专有名词。

罗列目前三大类18个税种如下：

1.货物和劳务税

Goods and services taxes

（1）增值税

Value-Added Tax

（2）消费税

Excise Tax

（3）车辆购置税

Vehicle Purchase Tax

（4）关税

Customs Duty（此处是仅有的特殊之处，用Duty，而不是Tax）

2.所得税

Income taxes

（1）企业所得税

Enterprise Income Tax

（2）个人所得税

Individual Income Tax

3.财产和行为税

Property and behavior Tax

（1）耕地占用税

Farmland Occupation Tax

（2）契税
