Albert Einstein (1879-1955) spoke of the scientific nature of Buddhism as follows:
"The religion of the future will be a universal religion, transcending all the divine, doctrinal and theological. The religion must embrace both the natural and the supernatural, based on the moral consciousness, derived from the overall experience of all aspects of the one which is full of meaning. Buddhism will meet these conditions. And if there is a religion that can cope with the needs of modern science, then it is Buddhism. "
