    Vnet / IP
    Vnet / IP是一条连接ICS,FCS,Exasmoc和Exaopc等站点的100 Mbps实时控制总线。其可以是单或双冗余总线。

    E-net
    这是CENTUM CS系统内部的一条LAN。ICS,EWS,Exasmoc站,Exaopc站,APC操作员站和可选的远程操作/监控站可以连接到E-net。E-net的电气和物理规格与Ethernet相同。

    通信网关单元(ACG)

    系统配置组件说明

    操作站
    操作站主要用于BRC和ERC的操作和监视 – 其显示了过程变量,控制参数,报警,图形,趋势等信息,以便用户快速掌握工厂的运行状态。

    APC操作站
    这是过程操作员和工程师用于操作和监控APC的专用站。用户可以在此站上使用基于Windows的PC和基于Visual Basic(VB)的图形用户界面(GUI)访问Exasmoc控制器。

    控制站
    除了许多其他功能之外,FCS主要控制BRC和ERC模式的工厂。

    Exasmoc站
    这是一台基于Windows的计算机,其将运行实际的Exasmoc在线控制器S/W。
    图B1.5.1显示了Exasmoc在线控制器作为Exaopc服务器的客户端。

    SMOC-PC Builder

    Vnet/IP
    Vnet/IP is a 100 Mbps real time control bus, which links stations such as ICS, FCS, Exasmoc and Exaopc. This can be single or dual redundant bus.

    E-net
    This is a LAN, internal to CENTUM CS system. ICS, EWS, Exasmoc station, Exaopc station, APC operator station and optional remote operation/monitoring station can be connected on E-net. The electrical and physical specifications of E-net are same as Ethernet.

    Communication Gateway Unit (ACG)
    The ACG is used to link the V-net to an E-net

    B1.4 Other Vendor’s System Configuration
    The following is a typical system configuration which includes Exasmoc station and Exaopc interface with CENTUM XL and other vendor DCS.
    Users’ actual system configuration will be similar to this typical system configuration.

    Description of System Configuration components

    Operator station
    Operator station mainly used for BRC and ERC operation and monitoring – it displays process variables, control parameters, alarms, graphics, trends, etc. necessary for users to quickly grasp the operating status of the plant.

    APC Operator Station
    This is a dedicated station for process operator and engineer for operation and monitoring APC. One can access Exasmoc controller using Windows based PC and Visual Basic (VB) based Graphic User Interface (GUI) on this station.

    Control Station
    The FCS mainly controls the plant in BRC and ERC modes besides its many other functions.

    Exasmoc station
    This is a Windows based computer where actual Exasmoc online controller S/W will be running.
    Figure B1.5.1 shows the Exasmoc online controller as client to Exaopc server.
    There is also an Ethernet card for providing H/W interface between computer and Ethernet.

    SMOC-PC Builder
    This is a S/W running on Windows 95 or higher OS. The main purpose of this S/W is to build/engineer AIDA and/or SMOC model; configure Exasmoc online controller and DCS definition interface. It will generate .EXA files as explained in Part A of this manual. These files will be then downloaded from this computer to Exasmoc station either through Ethernet or through portable media (e.g. Zip disk, MO, DAT etc)

    Exaopc with other vendor’s interface / OPC Server
    Exaopc or an OPC Server with other vendor’s interface offers an OPC (Open Product Connectivity) Foundation standard interface between other vendor DCS (using typical interface cassette for vendor’s DCS) and application S/W such as Exasmoc online controller. As Exasmoc is also OPC client, it reads/writes process related data on Control Station through Exaopc server.
    Connection test between Exasmoc with other vendor’s DCS is indispensable in advance.
