老年吟！
Chant in old age!
年少离家茅庐出，
杨鞭跃马展宏图，
初心未改征程远，
彩笔勤挥不觉孤。
I got out of the cottage and Left home，when I’m a mere stripling.
Having whipped up the horse，and ridden on the crest of success.
The initial heart has not changed, as the journey is still far.
I won't feel lonely when I swing my pen.
自信！
Confidence!
莫道夕阳非似火，
余晖尚可照山河，
黄昏似有黄昏景，
人生自信必是歌！
Don’t say the sunset is not like fire.
The afterglow can still shine on the mountains and rivers.
There seems to be twilight scene in the evening.
Confidence in life must be a song!
烛泪（五古）
Candle tears ( Ancient poem with five characters)
蜡炬泪淋沥，火苗焕新辉。
只恨光明小，岂哭自成灰。
The new glow of the fire rose with tears.
As the wish of bigger light so strong that itself become ashes.

作者简介：华荣，出生于1931年8月25日，原衡南县科学工作者协会副主席，一生努力工作，勤俭节约，退休后继续学习，爱好广泛，乐观开朗，坚持古典诗词创作。
Hua Rong, born on 25 August 1931, Vice-Chairman of the Association of Scientific Workers of Hengnan County, a lifetime of hard-working, diligence and thrift. With a wide range of hobbies, the optimistic elderly keeps learning after retirement and adheres to classical poetry creation.
