玛吉拉吉卓玛（简称玛吉拉尊1049—1144）是藏族历史上著名的女密宗师。她是西藏叶拉地方人，父名曲洛，母名拉莫本。传说是益西措甲的转世化身。

Wisdom from an Old Lady
来自一位老妇人的智慧
For ninety-nine years,
I have worked for the benefit of beings.
now this work is almost complete.
这九十九年来，我为利益众生而服务，现在这件工作几乎完成了。
I will not take birth again
in this human realm in a physical form,
nor will I leave behind any remains or relics.
我将不会再度以肉身形体投生人道，也不会留下任何遗体或舍利。
But my emanations in the world will be innumerable;
and many will recognize them.
They will be perceived in different ways,
depending on karma, pure or impure.
我在这世间将会有无尽的化现，许多人会认出，却会以不同的方式感知到，就取决于清净或不净的业力。
In the same way, mind itself has no support, has no object:
let it rest in its natural expanse without any fabrication.
When the bonds (of negative thoughts) are released,
you will be free, there is no doubt.
同样的，心性本身没有助缘、没有对境。让心性安住在自然无造作的宽广中，当束缚或负面念头被释放，你将会得解脱，这是毫无疑问的。
As when gazing into space, all other visual objects disappear,
so it is for mind itself.
When mind is looking at mind,
all discursive thoughts cease and
enlightenment is attained.
当你凝视虚空，所有外显境像消失，这就是心性本身。
当心看着心时，漫无边际的念头止息，就获得了证悟。
As in the sky all clouds disappear into sky itself:
wherever they go, they go nowhere,
wherever they are, they are nowhere.
如同天空中的云消融在天空里；云朵到处去，也哪里都没去、在任何处，也不在任何处。
This is the same for thoughts in the mind:
when the mind looks at mind,
the waves of conceptual thought disappear.
在心性中的念头也是如此，当心看着心时，概念性的念头波动会消失。
This body of ours is impermanent,
like a feather on a high mountain pass.
This mind of ours is empty and
clear like the depth of space.
我们的身体是无常的，犹如在高山关隘上的一根羽毛般。我们的心性是空的，清澈如幽深的虚空。
Relax in that natural state, free of fabrication.
When mind is without any support, that is mahamudra.
Becoming familiar with this, blending your mind with it
-- that is buddhahood.
休息在自然状态中，不造作，此时当心无所缘时，那就是大手印。
逐渐熟悉这状态，融会你的心在其中，那就是佛性。
Supreme view is beyond all duality of subject and object.
Supreme meditation is without distraction.
Supreme activity is action without effort.
Supreme fruition is without hope and fear.
最究竟的见地是超越所有主客体的二元特性。
最殊胜的禅修是不散乱。
最上乘的事业是不费力的作为。
最圆满的果报是无希求和恐惧。
This old lady has no instructions more profound
than this to give you."
这就是老妇人没有比这更深刻的教导可以给你的。
